Providing both national and international recognition for those nominated, shortlisted and ultimately chosen by our independent panel of judges, the Fraud Awards 2019, sponsored by WIS, celebrates the best in our profession, to inspire others to do even better – the rising stars, the successful collaborations and the outstanding teams.

The Awards has become the “Oscars” of the annual Risk Management calendar in the UK.

On 3rd October at the Leicester City Football Club, Home of Champions, the winners will be revealed at the Fraud Awards Gala Dinner. There, guests will enjoy a champagne reception, followed by an outstanding four course meal with champagne and fine wines, before the Awards themselves get underway.

The night is invariably full of drama and excitement as Awards are received, speeches made and photographs taken. After the winners have been announced there is further time to enjoy the company of fellow professionals over a glass of wine… or two!

RISING STAR AWARD

The judges are looking to recognise the success of an outstanding individual who has made a positive contribution to the bottom line performance and overall loss prevention landscape within their place of work. The winner does not necessarily work full-time in profit protection. They might be from another discipline, but “really get” risk and as such has made a significant difference – either financially or culturally – within their place of work.
