Announcing our judges for this year’s Fraud Awards…


Adam Oberdick

Lead Director Asset Protection

CVS Health

Adam Oberdick is a retail leadership executive with over 20 years of experience in asset protection, retail operations, and .com fraud at both the geo and global level. He is currently the Lead Director of Future Operations at CVS Health where he leads the strategic planning, risk assessment and innovation roadmap for CVS Asset Protection. Previously, Adam led the North America Digital Loss Prevention team and the Europe, Middle East, and Africa Nike Retail Loss Prevention teams. He has held leadership positions in global retail operations along with field leadership roles across North America.

Adam emphasizes diverse leadership, creative thinking and strategy development across his teams and colleagues. His education includes a BA in Criminal Justice from Marshall University along with continued education in CFI and FEMA Emergency Management. Adam is also a member of LPRC Innovate and the LPF.

Stewart Farrell

Head of Retail Loss Prevention & Investigations


Stewart has over 25 years of experience and qualifications in the security arena in both the private and public sector. Having spent 10 years in the Metropolitan Police as a Detective investigating major crime, Stewart has built a wealth of knowledge in the identifying, apprehending and prosecution of offenders. Having been in the Private sector since 2008, Stewart has also built a good understanding of issues affecting businesses. Stewart has been with Next for the past 9 years and has worked as a fraud investigator with the Next Online team, an RLPM on the London Region and has headed up the National Investigations Team, before taking his current position as the Head of Retail Loss Prevention in 2018. Stewart is no stranger to the Retail Risk fraud awards, having won it on 4 occasions in the past.

Michael Chambers

Senior Global Head Risk & Insurance

All Saints

Michael Chambers is the Senior Global Head of Risk, H&S and Insurance for Retail Store, Concessions, Wholesale, Warehousing and Distribution (W&D) at Allsaints & John Varvatos, covering 27 countries and regions including the UK, France, Ireland, USA, Mexico, Canada, Japan, South Korea and China

Prior to joining Allsaints Michael held the position of Head of Business Risk at Matalan, incorporating Loss Prevention, Health and Safety, Insurance, Compliance and Audit.

Prior to Matalan, Michael held other Head of Risk roles for US & European based retailers in the High St, non-food and financial services.

Lee Golding

Loss Prevention Manager – EU and UK


A highly accomplished, commercially focused Regional Head of Loss with an international career operating within the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure sectors in Europe, Asia and the Middle East throughout the last 20+ years

Lee is currently heading up the Loss Prevention function across Europe for Lovisa.

Sue Parker-Tantush

Former Group Head of Health and Safety

Sue recently led the Health and Safety transformation in the Co-op for the last 5 years, driving change through improved collaboration across the Co-op Businesses and a positive risk safety culture through strong leadership.

Previous experience was with Kingfisher, the leading European DIY chain where she was instrumental in breaking down barriers between Businesses across ten countries and sharing best practices.
She prides herself on being a strategic leader whilst always putting people first , bringing her experience in various roles beyond safety, including retail operations and risk management. She is also a trustee for GirlGuiding UK , the leading UK Charity for girls.

Austin Craddock

National Security Manager


Austin is a Profit Protection veteran with over 20 years’ service with Coles Supermarkets (over 840 stores nationally). He has led investigation and security teams in Coles for many years and has a passion for introducing new ideas and technologies. Austin was responsible for establishing and enabling Coles’ fraud and internal investigations team before turning to external theft matters. As the National Security Manager he leads Coles highly successful Organised Retail Crime program as well as managing Coles manpower and hardware related security.

John Redfern

Group Security Services Manager


John has been with Sainsbury’s for over 3 years having returned to the group after 2.6 years with TJX Europe (TK Maxx and Homesense). He is responsible for physical & technical security solutions into the Sainsbury’s & Argos Retail estate, alongside Supply Chain depots and Corporate offices; which equates to around 2.2k retail outlets, c. 40 warehousing locations, and 10 corporate sites. He is responsible for Capital investment and the business owner for CCTV and Intruder Alarms’ specification and standards amongst other areas of responsibility. He’s genuinely passionate about making the lives of our colleagues safer through physical security solutions which keep them safe during the day, and then keep them in bed overnight with our intruder alarm receiving centre team monitoring every night of the year. Working with a fantastic team who makes it all possible and enables him to support the business from a strategic SME vantage.

Prior to this he worked in multi-national businesses across Europe enabling him to broaden his understanding of overseas views and the detailed intricate nature of specifications and standards needed to underpin the true global security solutions which cut through language-borders, reduce complexity, keep things simple, and drive efficiencies through streamlined services. He was recognised as one of TJX’s Global Loss Prevention “Best In Class 2018 Winners”. Prior to this he was an Investigations Manager for Argos (during the Home Retail Group days) and worked across stores, supply chain, and corporate roles, finishing as Group Asset Protection Manager supporting Argos/Homebase/Habitat, after 8.5 years.

Adam Sherlock

Fraud & Payment Manager


Adam has 19 years’ experience in tackling fraud within the ecommerce sector. He currently heads up the Fraud & Payments department at Fitflop, implementing programs to reduce chargebacks and minimize returns fraud.

His previous roles include developing a Fraud Department from scratch for The Leisure Pass Group, and prior to that he worked for 16 years in Amazon fraud department (TRMS), managing large teams of investigators responsible for verifying transactions, screening vendors on the platform and implementing concession abuse mitigation strategies.

Jonathan Morgan

Head of Shrinkage


Jonathan Morgan is Head of Shrinkage for Tesco UK. Jonathan leads the teams that deliver accurate stock taking across the estate; shrinkage data analytics and operations; Communication, capability and engagement; central CCTV monitoring; and all shrinkage and security project and programme transformation. Jonathan has worked for Tesco for 10 years and previous to this role was an area manager running the central Manchester group.
