Andy served in the Royal Navy for 31 years, until retiring from active duty in 2017, leaving as the Head of the Royal Navy Police Special Investigations Branch, responsible for the investigation of serious and complex crime committed globally.
He then joined Associated British Ports in a Regional role, before becoming Group Head of Security in 2020, during which time he chaired the British Ports Association and UK Major Ports Group Security and Resilience Group.
Andy joined DP World as the Senior Director – Security (Europe) in April 2025 and is now responsible for delivering security to over 200 sites across Europe, including logistics operations, warehousing, freight and international ports and terminals.
