Alan Cotton

Alan is an experienced and knowledgeable former detective, SIA licensed Investigations/Security and loss prevention expert, with a successful police, forensic and legal enforcement/regulatory and retail background. He was consultant and contributor to BBC’s, ‘Limbs in the Loch’ documentary. He is proven to work independently whilst also leading and mentor teams. Trained in a wide range of investigating techniques he is also a qualified major incident commander. Now operating in a retail context, driving loss prevention and security strategy, Alan supports operations across the UK and Ireland.
