The power of partnership: how Safety and Profit Protection drive better retail outcomes

Retail Risk – Sydney

Join Kyla Sullivan in Sydney to discover how to turn complex challenges into coordinated solutions…

Retail violence, shrink, and operational pressures show no signs of slowing. With these challenges placing increasing strain on store teams and operations, the partnership between Safety and Profit Protection has never been more critical.

This is why we are delighted to announce that Kyla Sullivan, Group Manager Risk and Compliance – Kmart and Target Group, will be delivering an exclusive keynote session on this vital intersection of safety, risk, and loss prevention at Retail Risk – Sydney.

Kyla’s session is designed to give retailers practical ways to tackle today’s risk challenges. She’ll show how breaking down silos and building true cross-functional partnerships can boost team wellbeing, strengthen resilience, and cut shrink.

She’ll also draw on frontline experience across the Kmart and Target group network to unpack practical wins that come from unified frameworks, consistent communication, and shared priorities.
You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how collaboration can turn complex challenges into coordinated solutions that protect people and profits.
