EXCLUSIVE! Get an inside look at the NSW Police Force Retail Crime Strategy

Retail Risk – Sydney

The Retail Risk – Sydney line-up just keeps getting better…

How often do you get the chance to hear directly from the people shaping retail crime prevention in Australia? Not often – and this is one of those rare opportunities.

Our conference organisers have been working hard to secure exclusive insights from the frontlines of retail crime prevention, and we are thrilled to reveal that Phil Hallinan, Commander, Crime Prevention Command (Head of Profession for NSW Retail Crime) will be sharing his expertise in a one-of-a-kind session at Retail Risk – Sydney on 26th February.

Phil’s presentation will focus on the New South Wales Retail Crime Strategy, which was rolled out statewide at the end of 2025 alongside Operation Percentile. Both initiatives tackle offences including assaults, intimidation, threats of violence, repeat offending, and theft.

Phil will outline how the Retail Crime Strategy has zero tolerance for anyone who attacks or instils fear in workers, and share insights into emerging issues being confronted by the likes of high-visibility policing operations, novel intelligence methods, and much more. You’ll also discover more about evolving industry partnerships.

Join us at Retail Risk – Sydney on 26th February for this can’t-miss session. If you haven’t already registered for this brilliant day of risk management training and thought leadership (it’s free!), then you can do so here:
