ASEL launches one-stop-shop service for vacant properties

New offering to make it easier for property owners to keep vacant sites secure, maintained, and compliant…

ASEL is launching a new one-stop-shop service aimed at safeguarding vacant and void properties, the company has confirmed.

The service goes live on Friday 6 February 2026 and marks the first time ASEL has expanded beyond its traditional security offerings.

Vacant properties are often at risk from vandalism, squatting, theft, weather damage, and compliance breaches, with owners legally obliged to maintain safety and adhere to regulations. Failures in these areas can lead to costly repairs, delays, or enforcement action.

ASEL’s new service is designed to address these challenges by offering a fully integrated approach, consolidating security, maintenance, inspections, and compliance support under one provider.

The offering is aimed at anyone responsible for the upkeep of vacant properties, including local authorities, housing providers, commercial property owners and developers, landlords, portfolio managers, and rural estate owners.

Commenting on the launch, Emma Lifton, Chief Operating Officer – TSS at ASEL, said: “This expansion is an exciting milestone for ASEL and marks the first time we have moved beyond traditional security services.

“Leaving a vacant property unsecured can lead to costly incidents that far exceed the investment in protection,” she added. “Our new vacant property management services are designed to reduce the risk of damage and loss through proactive monitoring and rapid responses, help lower insurance premiums by meeting insurer requirements and demonstrating duty of care, and keep properties safe, secure, and ready for faster occupation or sale.”

This gives property owners and managers real peace of mind, knowing their sites are fully protected, maintained, and compliant, and reflects ASEL’s commitment to innovation, quality, and comprehensive property protection.”
