The Heroes of Retail Risk Awards once again prove why this industry is so special…
On Thursday 18th June, we celebrated the exceptional heroism, bravery and selfless acts of our frontline retail colleagues at the Heroes of Retail Risk Awards (HORRAs).
Comedian Hal Cruttenden got the evening off to a flying start, leaving the room in stitches before the Awards ceremony itself was expertly hosted once again by TV legend Siân Jones.
Guests were treated to a rollercoaster of emotions as video footage captured the high drama, bravery and exceptional acts of those chosen by the panel of independent judges to be winners of each of eight categories. Applause was loud and long for awards recipients, and justifiably so.
Everyone whose names were entered for an Award will all be receiving certificates of special commendation, and it will be interesting to see the follow up publicity for all of those heroes being celebrated in local press newsletters and online too – further demonstrating the commitment of the industry to acknowledge the work of frontline colleagues.
Following the completion of the Awards, guests were treated to an excellent four course dinner, with fine wines and excellent food, before taking to the dancefloor to burn off some of those Awards night calories!
